Lights out in the Truck Camper: It’s so Cold!

Cupcake Chronicles E17

Lights out in the truck camper. That’s just never a good thing! Dead batteries on the truck and in the camper make for a nervous couple of days for us. Okay, it was actually a nervous week, but, who’s counting?!

In our previous episode we spent time preparing Cupcake for the oncoming arctic blast. This week we’re trying to get Cupcake back up and running after the arctic blast.

Lights out in the truck camper…oh no!

It was cold, really, really cold. Like -26F kind of cold. We had high hopes for Cupcake to winter the storm with ease, but alas, it was not to be. Join us over on The Tube, this week as we manually (yes, manually) crank the truck camper’s slide out. Then we clean up exploded water bottles. And finally we question ourselves about just how ‘four season’ Cupcake actually is when the temperatures drop to “really cold”. Lights out in the truck camper make our hearts beat just a little faster.

We’re not used to this kind of cold and apparently, neither is Cupcake. She’s ready to head back to somewhere warm. We all are! Of course, we had snow when we visited Yellowstone. It’s because we pretty much have snow where ever we go, so let’s have some sunshine already.

Oh, and hey, we just want to say thanks for stopping by to check out our content. We appreciate you.

Fortunately, this time, that was the camper making the groaning noise.
(It’s been a long week of raw, organic meals. We’re both giving each other serious a side eye at unusual gastric noises.)

While you are in New Mexico, you have to try Alien Amber, brewed in Roswell. It’s a great beer

We’ll do it! We have a Yeti type beer keg thingy that holds four pints. We’ll give it a whirl and let you know what we think!
